Policy 3270 Internet Access Conduct Agreement

All use of electronic networks shall be consistent with the District’s goal of promoting education excellence by facilitating resource sharing, innovation, and communication. The failure of any user to follow these procedures will result in the loss of privileges, disciplinary action, and/or appropriate legal action.

Policy 3500 Student Health/Physical Screenings/Examinations

The District may arrange each year for health services to be provided to all students. Potential services include: Dental Varnish (KG), Dental Sealants (Elem), Cindy Floyd, Marsing School Nurse (PreK-12), Lions Club Vision Screening (Elem), and Delta Dental of Idaho Cleaning and Fillings (MS). Notification will be sent home prior to these screenings at each school building. With your permission, students can participate in the above applicable health screenings or examinations.

Policy 3570 Student Records

The District will maintain a record for each student that shall contain information including, but not limited to, birth certificate, proof of residency, unique student identifier, basic identifying information, academic transcripts, immunization records, including exemption documentation, attendance record, intelligence and aptitude scores, psychological reports, achievement test results, participation in extracurricular activities, honors and awards, special education records, verified reports or information from non-educational persons, verified information of clear relevance to the student's education, log pertaining to release of this record and disciplinary information.

Medication Consent

This is an authorization for non-prescription medication administration. I authorize MSD to administer the following over-the-counter medications to my child during the school hours. Medications include: acetaminophen, ibuprofen, benadryl, antibiotic ointment, hydrocortisone cream, calamine lotion, tums, or pepto bismol. All other medications require a medical order from your student's physician and completion of Form 3510F.

Policy 2140 Students & Family Privacy Rights

The Protection of Pupil Rights Amendment requires the District to notify you and obtain consent or allow you to opt your child out of participating in certain school activities. These activities include certain surveys, analyses, or evaluations. Parents or guardians may inspect the survey to be given prior to administering and also can refuse to allow their child to participate in any survey requesting personal information.
